Naturally this is one of the ways Samsung is hoping to entice customers over to its brand, but what about non-Samsung customers? Could they eventually get in on this? According to a recent interview with Samsung’s executive VP and head of enterprise business Injong Rhee, it seems that the company isn’t completely closed off to the idea.
Rhee states that Samsung did consider opening up Samsung Pay to other manufacturers in the past, but as it stands they are not working with anyone at the moment. Rhee claims that they are instead focusing on deploying the service which we suppose is a fair argument. Perhaps once the dust has settled, Samsung will eventually open it up to non-Samsung device owners, but what say you? Is Samsung Pay a service you might consider using? Or are other methods like Android Pay more appealing?
