Now for those who own Samsung devices, thanks to a leaked roadmap (via PhoneArena), possible release dates for the update have been revealed. Note that we have no way of confirming if the dates are real, but this is a copy of the roadmap that was obtained by TimeNews so take it with a grain of salt for now.
That being said, the good news for Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ owners is that the update for your phone is pegged for a December 2015 release. For the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, the Android 6.0 update is set for January 2016. Older models like the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge are expected to receive theirs in February.
Unfortunately for the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Alpha and Galaxy A and E-series of smartphones, the update is pending approval so no ETA on that yet. For those living in the US, your updates might arrive later as it might be subject to carrier approval, but for those running unlocked handsets, these are the dates you can look forward to.
