It has been rumored multiple times over the past couple of weeks that Konami might release a free to play version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 in the near future, and that’s certainly what it’s going to do. It has now been confirmed that Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 free to play version will go live next month, Konami describes this version of the game as “entry level.”
So far Konami has only confirmed that the Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 free to play version will be released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, it’s unclear if and when this entry level version of PES 2016 will land on the Xbox.
The free to play version is going to feature an Exhibition Mode with players being allowed to choose from seven teams which include Brazil, France, Bayern Munich, AS Roma and others. Unlimited access to Pro Evolution Soccer MyClub and a full training section will also be available.
Konami has also said that while this is merely an overview of the game’s “stunning levels of control,” the free to play version is going to be compatible with all future content and gameplay updates that are released throughout the entire Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 season.
PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 owners can get it December 8th, 2016.
