The Loop Crystal is aimed primarily at women, according to the company, but we suppose just about anybody could wear it if they so desire. According to Polar, “Loop Crystal is embellished with 30 Swarovski crystals inlaid into two polished stainless steel decorative bezels. The white, soft silicone textured bracelet is customizable, and secured with a small stainless steel buckle. A touch button activates the Loop Crystal’s display, consisting of 85 individually placed LED lights, and allows users to change between views.”
However apart from the bling, the Loop Crystal is basically the Loop 2 underneath all the crystals. This means that you can expect to receive notifications when paired with a smartphone, along with reminders for users to get up and walk if they have been sitting down too long.
Unfortunately the Loop Crystal/Loop 2 does not have a built-in heart rate monitor, so this means if you want to track your heart rate with the bracelet, you will need to purchase it with the Polar H7 chest strap separately and pair them together. In terms of pricing, the Loop Crystal will be priced at $160 ($40 more than the Loop 2) and will be available later this month.
