Oxygen OS 2.1.3 Update Hits The OnePlus X

For those of you who happen to be rocking out to the OnePlus X smartphone from the folks over at OnePlus, here is news for you – it seems that there is a new software update that is well on its way to the mobile device, and guess what – there will be no Marshmallow involved, but rather, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop will remain as it is after the update is applied. However, the introduction of Oxygen OS 2.1.3 will bring along with it a slew of enhancements where the microSD memory card support on the device is concerned.

Apart from that, you should be able to pick up additional user interface improvements, not to mention exFAT SD card support, as well as the ability to move apps to and from the card. Not only that, one should be happy that this update would have fixed the rather inconvenient bug which caused the OnePlus X to reboot whenever the microSD memory card is removed.

OnePlus also claims that there are other security patches that have remained unnamed as part of the Oxygen OS 2.1.3 update, in addition to a slew of “general bug fixes and optimizations”. This will be an over-the-air (OTA) rollout, so if you have not received your update just yet, patience is the key word here.
