The thing about external battery packs or battery cases is that they tend to be bulky. However given how long our smartphone batteries tend to last, sometimes carrying around battery packs is a necessity to get through the day. However if you’d love to avoid the bulk, you’re in luck because Nomad has announced a new wallet-slash-charger for your iPhone.
As you can see in the image above, the accessory which is simply dubbed the Wallet, can hold your money and at the same time charge your iPhone. This is possible thanks to a built-in charger that’s hidden in the spine of the wallet, meaning that for the most part it will look and feel like a regular wallet, so unless you don’t typically walk around with a wallet and just a money clip, this will feel pretty natural for you.
It features a 2,400mAh battery which is pretty impressive for its size, and there is also a Lightning cable that’s hidden inside the wallet, so you can just pull it out and use it to charge anytime you want, which at the same time means that Android users or other smartphone users who rely on USB-C or micro USB to charge their phones won’t be able to use the Nomad Wallet.
