Driveclub, a title that wasn’t without its faults when it first came out, is going to get a new update soon which is not only going to add new tracks but also going to bring tyre deformation to the gameplay experience. This was confirmed by game director Paul Rustchynsky who has revealed that Driveclub will receive updates with new content next month as well as in the coming year.
He revealed this as he was responding to questions from fans on Twitter, when asked what developer Evolution Studios had in the pipeline for Driveclub, he said that tyre deformation for cars is going to be released in the next update which will arrive in December.
Rustchynsky also tweeted that players can expect to get new tracks in the coming year but didn’t confirm what those locations will be and when exactly in 2016 will the new tracks be added to the game.
The game director also did not confirm over Twitter when he was interacting with the community that when exactly the tyre deformation update that he’s talking about will be released in December 2015.
This announcement comes after Sony launched Driveclub Bikes at the Paris Games Week 2015, the expansion is available as a separate download or as a component of the core game, it’s focused on performance bikes and providers players with a whole new way to race.
