Meizu is no stranger when it comes to smartphones or mobile devices that sport the mini suffix, as with the Meizu M1 mini and the Meizu M1 Note mini. This time around, there might be something interesting that you would want to check out – the Meizu Pro 5 mini, and needless to say, this will be a smaller version of the recently unveiled Meizu Pro 5. The Pro 5 arrived with a 5.7” Super AMOLED display while running on the Exynos 7420 chipset.
For those who love to get technical, you would have realized that this is the very same SoC that one will be able to find underneath the hood of notable devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Apparently, the Meizu Pro 5 mini could arrive with MediaTek’s Helio X20 chipset.
A published report points to the Meizu Pro 5 mini being powered by the MT6797 SoC that will boast of a deca-core CPU, in addition to a 4.7” display at Full HD resolution, arriving in 32GB and 64GB capacities, with an asking price of $315 and $394, depending on the amount of internal memory within. Oh yes, you should also be able to find an all metal build with this bad boy, too.
