Logitech’s CREATE iPad Pro Keyboard Case Now Available For Purchase

Apple has a Smart Keyboard accessory for the the iPad Pro. The accessory is priced at $169 which is admittedly a bit pricey but if you’d rather not spend that amount but want a keyboard accessory all the same, you might be pleased to learn that Logitech has announced the availability of its CREATE keyboard case for the iPad Pro.

The Logitech CREATE keyboard case was actually announced back in September. The company at that time had stated that the keyboard would be made available the same time the iPad Pro would be available, and sure enough they have. If you were to hop on over to the company’s website, you will be able to purchase one for yourself for $149.99, about $20 cheaper than Apple’s own accessory.

The keyboard itself is pretty standard and if there is one advantage it has over the Smart Keyboard is that its keys are backlit. This should help with typing in the dark. The keyboard will also connect with your iPad Pro via the Smart Connector, a new method of pairing accessories introduced by Apple.

The Smart Connector will also help charge the keyboard so as long as your iPad Pro has juice, so will your CREATE keyboard. In addition, the CREATE keyboard’s case (the case, not the keyboard) is water-repellant so getting a few drops of water on it shouldn’t damage it.
