lenovo-vibe-x3Last week we reported that Lenovo was teasing the upcoming launch of the Vibe X3 and it looks like customers will no longer have to wait as the phone has been officially announced. Just like the teaser which seemed to hint at the phone having better than normal audio capabilities, that’s exactly what Lenovo will be delivering.

The Lenovo Vibe X3 will come in three models but all models will feature a Texas Instruments OPA1612 amplifier, a Cirrus Logic WM8281 codec for noise and echo cancellation, and a high-end Sabre 9018C2M DAC, similar to the one found in the LG V10, and last but not least and as the cherry on top, all phones will have Dolby Atmos certification.

lenovo_vibe_x3This means that if you’re an audiophile or someone who cares deeply about the way their music and videos sound, then this phone might be of interest to you. Now like we said the Vibe X3 comes in three versions. All models will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display, but two of the models will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset.

They will also come with 3GB of RAM, a 23MP rear-facing camera, an 8MP front-facing camera, and a 3,600mAh battery. The only difference here is the storage size with one model coming with 32GB and the other with 64GB. The third model will be powered by a MediaTek chipset clocked at 1.3GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.

The main camera on this model has a 16MP sensor and a 5MP front-facing camera, and a slightly smaller 3,400mAh battery. The phones are priced at $470 for the 64GB model, $390 for the 32GB model, and $300 for the “Youth” version, but unfortunately no word on whether they will be launched stateside.
