HTC has to seriously up its game if it wants to remain competitive in the tough smartphone market. The company is hoping that its latest smartphone, HTC One A9, does wonders for its fortunes. While that remains to be seen there are rumors that HTC has yet another “One” branded device in the pipeline, it may be called the HTC One X9.
Word on the street is that the HTC One X9 is going to be a flagship device, it may be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with 3GB RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. It may also have a Quad HD resolution display, 23 megapixel rear camera and a 3,500mAh battery.
Nothing has been officially confirmed at this point in time so take all of this with a grain of salt. An image has been leaked from China which apparently shows what the HTC One X9 is going to look like. It seems to be a promotional image for this upcoming handset.
HTC itself has not even dropped a hint about this device, so if it really is in the pipeline we may have to wait a bit for it to arrive, if I were to speculate it doesn’t look like the HTC One X9 will arrive before early next year at the very least.
