Honda has several hybrid vehicles under its belt, but for those who wanted a hybrid that was stylish, then perhaps the CR-Z might have caught your attention. For those unfamiliar with the CR-Z, basically it’s a sporty hybrid vehicle from Honda. It is a 2-door model so if you want the looks of a sports car minus the carbon emissions, then the CR-Z could be a worthy contender.
That being said, it looks like Honda has decided to give its CR-Z model a facelift for the 2016 version of the car. The facelift isn’t particularly drastic and is more like a change in the front with a reshaped grille, although we have to admit that the slight chance is a nice touch as the car does have a “fiercer” look to it now.
However the 2016 model will be more than just a facelift. Under the hood, Honda has swapped out the regular parking brake lever with an electric one. This means that the center console can take up more space. There is a new 7-inch infotainment unit and for those who go for the EX trim model, the screen can also be used for Honda’s LaneWatch technology.
There will also be more options available for the EX-L model like navigation and heated leather seats, although upgrading will naturally cost you more. As far as pricing is concerned, the base model will be priced starting at $21,130 and is expected to go up in cost if you were to go for the EX or the EX-L models.
