With this new update, Google has introduced what can only be described as a personal trainer feature for Android Wear devices. Dubbed the Fit Challenge, this lets users choose between several different exercises such as push ups, sit ups, and squats, all of which will target your core muscles. Depending on your fitness level, you can even choose the difficulty you want to attempt.
Presumably based on the sensors built into your Android Wear device, the Fit Challenge will be able to keep track of your progress and tell you how many reps you’ve done and how much time has passed. There will be helpful encouragements to help spur you on and upon completion, users will be shown a congratulatory animation. Each challenge has been designed to last 30 days and will start off at 5 reps each for each exercise. If you’ve yet to update your Google Fit, you can head on over to the Play Store for the download.
