The Fujifilm X-Pro1 was announced a couple of years ago which means that we reckon it’s about time that Fujifilm introduce a successor. In fact we have heard rumors of the X-Pro2 and how it will be launched this year and that following its launch, we might even be treated to the launch of the X-T2.
We can’t say for sure when the camera will be announced, but thanks to the folks at Fuji Rumors, alleged specs of the X-Pro2 have been leaked. According to the rumors, the X-Pro2 will feature a 24MP sensor and support for dual SD cards. There is expected to be more than 200 AF points, a Hybrid Viewfinder similar to the X100T, a 1/8000 shutter speed, 1/250 flash sync speed, a fixed LCD, and an ISO range of 200-12,800.
The folks at Fuji Rumors are also claiming that instead of the camera launching this year, it will be launched next year. To be more specific, they claim that the camera will be launched on the 15th of January 2016 in time for CES 2016. We guess that makes sense since CES is a great place for companies to launch new products.
However since it’s hardly official, do take it with a grain of salt for now but with CES 2016 taking place in a couple of months, we guess we won’t have to wait too long to find out if the rumors are true.
