Like most titles these days you can expect Star Wars Battlefront to get more content down the line through DLCs, this enables players to get more out of the game while developers can continue to make money by selling these DLCs after they’re already sold the game. It works well for both parties and for those who are wondering when the first Star Wars Battlefront DLC will arrive, they will have to keep waiting until early next year.
This has been revealed on the game’s official website where the $50 Season Pass has been detailed, it mentions that the first expansion for Star Wars Battlefront is going to be released in early 2016.
Paid DLCs combined will add four additional playable heroes and villains to the title, characters have not yet been specified. They will also bring 16 multiplayer maps that feature new locations, over 20 pieces of new gear, weapons, Star Cards, vehicles as well as four additional game modes for Star Wars Battlefront.
Electronic Arts has already confirmed that four premium DLCs will be released for this title, they can be bought individually, however those who get the $50 Season Pass will get the content packs two weeks for everybody else.
One bit of DLC that Season Pass owners don’t get is the Battle of Jakku, it will released for free next month, those who pre-ordered Star Wars Battlefront get it on December 1st before it becomes available for everybody on December 8th.
