The Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition is limited in case you did not know that. Bethesda did not anticipate the initial demand for it which has resulted in the company producing additional units to meet the demand, only to have them sell out quickly. This isn’t surprising given that the Pip-Boy is not only iconic to Fallout, but probably one of the coolest accessories you can expect from video game bundles.
Now as we speculated last time, if you weren’t quick on the draw, this means that if you wanted the Pip-Boy Edition you’d probably have to turn to eBay or Craigslist, and boy were we right. However what we did not anticipate was the price in which gamers are asking for it. According to reports and sightings, it seems that there are some gamers who are charging as much as $1,000 for the bundle.
We’re not sure how many gamers are actually bothering to bid on them since $1,000 is a lot for what some are calling a glorified phone case, but we’re sure that there are probably a few collectors out there who wouldn’t mind dropping that amount of money just to get their hands on it. That being said, there are some listings that are a bit more reasonable and are asking for a few hundred, so if you think that the Pip-Boy Edition is worth that much to you, perhaps you can go ahead and bid on it.
