Doctor’s Note Lets You Skip Work To Play Fallout 4 (Probably Not)
Fallout 4 will be officially release tomorrow and we’re sure many gamers out there are itching to get their hands on the game. Unfortunately Bethesda has opted to release the game on the 10th of November, a Tuesday which isn’t even the middle of the week. This means that if you have school or work, you probably won’t have as much time until the weekend to really play the game.
The good news is that Bethesda’s Pete Hines has you covered. Hines recently posted a doctor’s note on his Twitter account in which it will allow gamers to get out of work or school so they can stay home and play the game. It also turns out that apart from being a marketing wiz, Hines also holds an MD and a PhD, making him a “doctor”.
Of course by now we hope that you realized that this is a joke and that poor excuse for a doctor’s note (and what’s up with that signature?!) will probably not get you out of going to school or work. However it does make for great marketing material. That being said, Fallout 4 is released tomorrow so hopefully gamers who have bought the game have managed to preload it ahead of time so that they won’t have to waste tomorrow downloading all of its contents.
