You may not come across many people who particularly like the invite system that OnePlus implements for selling its smartphones. The company says that it does this to ensure that it can adequately manage demand and supply, but for customers it can be frustrating, sometimes they have to keep waiting to get an invite before they can spend their money on a product OnePlus is selling. At least they won’t have that to worry about this Black Friday weekend as the company’s current flagship, the OnePlus 2, will be available for purchase without an invite.
This was just confirmed by OnePlus over on Twitter, the OnePlus 2 will be available for purchase without invite from November 27th to November 30th. For four days potential customers don’t have to worry about invites before purchasing the OnePlus 2.
It has also been revealed that other holiday deals will be offered during this time period, perhaps we can expect to see discounts on some products, though the company is yet to reveal what deals it will offer.
From the looks of it this Black Friday 2015 promotion is limited to the OnePlus 2 only, if you have been holding out for the OnePlus X perhaps you might have to continue waiting, there’s nothing to indicate right now that the new handset will also figure in some way during the company’s holiday promotions.
