Apple’s iPad Pro is not just a larger iPad. Technically it is, but it is a completely different beast what with a processor that apparently rivals the MacBooks and also with support for accessories like the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard. This means that developers who wish to create apps for the iPad Pro have more work cut out for them than simply enlarging their apps to fit its display.
The good news is that if you bought an iPad Pro or if you are waiting for your order to arrive and you’re wondering what kind of apps you’ll be able to use with the tablet right out of the box, fret not as Apple has created a dedicated section on the iTunes App Store that highlights the apps that have been designed and optimized for the iPad Pro in mind.
For example as you can see in the screenshot above, we are looking at apps that have also been created for use with the Apple Pencil, like Evernote, Paper, and several Adobe apps. There are also productivity apps listed like Apple’s own iWork suite and also Microsoft Office, just to name a few.
There is also a section that highlights some of the games that gamers can look forward to enjoying on their tablet. So if you’re wondering if there are any apps available for your tablet, then do check out that list for the details.
