Anonymous Releases Guide On How You Can Help Hack ISIS

As many of you guys have heard by now, the hackers collective known as Anonymous has publicly declared cyberwar on ISIS following the attacks in Paris, France. So far the group has reportedly managed to get multiple social media accounts that are apparently linked to ISIS shut down, and now it looks like they want your help.

To that end, the group has since released a “noob” guide on their Internet Relay Channel (which we won’t link to), in which it basically contains information on how you can pick up some hacking skills of your own and help them in their efforts in knocking ISIS’ presence off the web, such as setting up bot accounts and how to identify ISIS websites.

According to Anonymous, “Instead of sitting idle in the [chat] channel or lurking around and doing nothing, you can benefit greatly from the different tools and guides that have been provided to you,” a member of the amorphous group wrote. Your contribution means a lot and we encourage you to partake in all of the Op’s activities if you can, the more the merrier.”

Safe to say that this is a very dangerous endeavor and at Ubergizmo, we do not condone hacking. However for those who feel like they must do this, we suppose we can’t really do much to stop you. In the meantime it has been reported that Anonymous has successfully managed to take down 5,500 accounts linked to the terrorist group.
