Alien: Paradise Lost Script Being Revised By Ridley Scott Himself
I would say that the movie franchise Alien has certainly captured the imagination of many people over the years, and while there have been crossovers such as Alien v Predator, one would certainly like to know how such a vile and efficient killing machine came about. Prometheus raised far more questions than leaving answers behind, so perhaps hearing that Prometheus sequels are in the works is a good thing, with Variety reporting that Ridley Scott himself is also in the final stages of going through the Alien: Paradise Lost script that will see shooting kick off when the Samsung Galaxy S7 is rumored to be revealed.
Scott shared, “[The Alien’s] role had been worn out in previous films, but one of the questions that had never been answered was why such a creature would be invented, and by whom. That opens much larger, more universal questions.”
The script also contains a character that is somewhat like David – the android who looks so lifelike, he could pass off for being an actual human. Apparently, this android is said to be “…not impressed by his creators. The android, he’s the smartest guy in the room.” I guess that more or less gives the game away as to why he acted the way he did.
