There have also been rumors that suggests that Samsung is looking to use its own Exynos chipset as well, and now a report from Reuters has revealed that the South Korean tech company may very well use both, and that the Snapdragon 820 version of the Galaxy S7 will be making its way to markets in the US and China.
This means that all other markets around the world will be getting the version with the Exynos chipset. Unsurprisingly Samsung declined to comment on the rumor. However this does not come as a complete surprise. Previously we had seen similar practices where one chipset was used for a certain market, and another was used for a different market.
We suppose the real question is based on this rumor, it sounds like Samsung has decided to go with the Snapdragon 820 after all. Safe to say you should probably take it with a grain of salt for now, but if the rumors are true, we could be looking at a possible announcement in January 2016, which would line up perfectly with CES.
