It hasn’t been long since Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 was released but soon after the title was released gamers started to complain about all sorts of issues and bugs, Activision then confirmed that it was working with developers to fix all of those issues. The launch didn’t go as smoothly as the developers would have wanted and they’ve had to confirm another setback for fans, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 has been delayed.

Activision today confirmed that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 has been delayed. It had initially promised to release the game on November 13th for previous-generation consoles but clearly that’s not going to happen now.

A statement has been released which tries to explain why this decision has been made. Activision says that it’s still working to address all of the issues that have been reported on the current-generation consoles.

“Our development resources are fully focused on fixes and content updates for PS4 and Xbox One, so we have decided to delay the release of THPS5 on PS3 and X360,” Activision says, adding that it will update the community when there’s specific information about the release date for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

So the idea here is to make previous-gen console owners wait in the hope that they’ll have a better experience at launch than the PS4 and Xbox One owners did. Only time will tell if this turns out to be the case.
