Granted you could just jump to the end to activate it, but it’s one of the methods to try and get users to read it. However it seems that in a bid to ensure that users have read the EULA, the developers at Larian Studios (creators of Divinity: Original Sin) have included a clause that actually rewards players for reading to the end.
Spotted by Quarter to Three, the fine print at the end reads, “16. Special Consideration. A special consideration in material or immaterial form may be awarded to the first 100 authorized licensees to actually read this section of the EULA and contact LARIAN STUDIOS at info@larian.com. This offer can be withdrawn by LARIAN STUDIOS at any time.”
So what did these eagle-eyed gamers get as a result of them reading the EULA to the end? Basically Steam keys to other Larian games, which we guess is a pretty sweet deal since chances are you did not expect those freebies to begin with.
