Last month we reported on a camera called the Polaroid Snap. For those unfamiliar with Polaroid, the company was famous back in the day for creating cameras that could take photos and print them on the spot. However with the advent of digital camera and smartphones where you could preview photos instantly, the need for Polaroids has died down.
However if you do like the idea of being able to capture and print your photos instantly in physical form, you might be pleased to learn that the Polaroid Snap is now available for purchase in the US and the UK, as announced by C&A Marketing, an authorized Polaroid licensee.
It is available in black, white, red, and blue for $99.99 which is admittedly a bit pricey, but we suppose the novelty might be justifiable. Just in case you forgot about the Polaroid Snap, the camera is shaped like a compact camera. Photos are printed using the Zero Ink printing technology meaning that there is no need for refills or cartridges.
The result are photos sized 2-inches by 3-inches. It is a bit small but perfect if you want to put photos up on the fridge or in your purse/wallet. It features a 10MP sensor and there are 6 picture modes users can choose from. It supports microSD and will include features like a timer. For more info, hit up the Polaroid Snap website.
