At the moment there seems to be a bit of confusion regarding the OnePlus X and the OnePlus mini. While we have heard rumors that OnePlus could be planning a smaller version of the phone, we have also seen and heard some references made to the OnePlus X, but hopefully all of that will be resolved and cleared up soon.
However in the meantime thanks to a listing on Amazon India, it seems that the alleged specs of the OnePlus mini have been posted online. Now the Amazon page in which the handset was supposedly listed has been taken down, so we can’t tell if the page had even existed at all so it’s best taken with a grain of salt.
However based on the listing, it suggests that the upcoming OnePlus mini will run on OxygenOS 3.0 which is supposedly based on Android 6.0. It will also feature a metal frame around the body, a 5-inch display with Gorilla Glass 3, and what seems to be very suspicious is the fact that the phone will allegedly feature Synaptics’ ClearForce pressure-sensitive display technology.
Like we said this does sound rather suspicious so do take it with a grain of salt. However OnePlus did recently post a teaser on its Facebook page indicating that an announcement will be made soon, so do check back with us in the coming days/weeks where hopefully we will be treated to the details.
