If you think that the ladder system in StarCraft 2 could do with some changing, fixing, or an update, you might be in luck. It would seem that Blizzard will be announcing some changes that they will be making to the ladder system in StarCraft 2, but the bad news is that they will only unveil those changes at BlizzCon 2015 which kicks off next month.
This was confirmed by David Kim, StarCraft 2’s lead multiplayer designer who said that the design of the ladder would be evolving over the next year with Legacy of the Void’s first season, but those details would only be shared at BlizzCon 2015, so if you’re a competitive StarCraft 2 player, then you will want to stay tuned for more info.
For the casual player, how the ladder is designed might not be a big deal, but it would seem that many competitive players have called for some kind of change. Legacy of the Void will be the final installment in the StarCraft 2 series, and it is also expected to end the StarCraft storyline, which is why some feel like Legacy of the Void would be a great reason to hit the reset button.
In any case we suppose we’ll have to wait several weeks until all is revealed, but in the meantime any competitive StarCraft 2 players out there who have any idea on how the ladder system should be revamped?
