Netflix is open to working with other companies to create original content for its video streaming service, it has teamed up with Marvel to create shows like Daredevil and Jessica Jones. The company today announced that it’s teaming up with Lego to create two new shows for kids which will be released next year. The two shows titled Lego Bionicle: The Journey to One and Lego Friends: The Power of Friendship will be available for on-demand streaming on Netflix in the first half of 2016.

This is part of a larger announcement revolving a total of seven original series for children, they will arrive on Netflix between next year and 2017.

There’s demand on the service for more content geared towards children, Netflix revealed that some 30 million subscribers regularly watch children’s programming on the service.

Initially the two Lego shows will only debut with four episodes but more content will certainly be released down the line to shore up Netflix’ repository of kids’ programming.

It has been working hard to prop up this particular aspect of the service and the deal with Lego is going to go a long way to ensure that users not only get access to original series like House of Cards and Orange is the new Black, but also original series that are much more suitable for the little ones.
