In a couple of weeks, Motorola and Verizon are expected to announce new handsets. One of those rumored devices is the Motorola Droid Turbo 2, which for those unfamiliar is basically a rebranded version of the Moto X Force. Now thanks to accessory maker Qmadix, it seems that renders of the Droid Turbo 2 have been leaked online.
The company who makes accessories has recently posted photos of accessories for the Droid Turbo 2, and in the process it appears that they revealed the handset. Granted it could simply be a placeholder or mockup, but it does line up with images that we have seen in the past, so chances are this might be the real deal, or at the very least a very good replica of the phone.
Unfortunately the specs of the phone remain a bit of mystery for now, but we have heard that it could come with a 5.5-inch QHD display and under the hood, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset will be powering the phone along with 3GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of storage, and a sizeable 3,760mAH battery.
The other handset rumored to be announced by Motorola and Verizon is the Droid MAXX 2, which is essentially the Moto X Play that will be exclusive to Verizon. The handset was recently “confirmed” by Motorola when the company uploaded screenshots from an email app that signed off with the device.
