It looks like the folks over at Verizon have already begun to tease the masses with the soon to arrive Motorola Droid Turbo 2, where it depicted the back in a leaked image of some promotional material. Apart from that, what else do we know about the Motorola Droid Turbo 2? For starters, it is the first smartphone that will carry the Droid brand which will be made available via Moto Maker, which so happens to be Motorola’s very own online hardware customization service. Hence, it goes without saying that there should be a fair number of various back cover variations that will arrive for the Droid Turbo 2, as you can see in yet another leaked image above.
The Motorola Droid Turbo 2 is set for an unveiling this coming October 27, and we are privy to more (or perhaps even all – who knows?) of the available options then. There are three covers located from the left that do seem to be made out of leather, while the rest might be kevlar, or perhaps a certain kind of fabric. As mentioned before, the Droid Turbo 2 is tipped to come with a kind of “shatterproof” screen.
Hardware-wise, it looks set to venture into flagship territory, what with a QHD display accompanied by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC,3GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of internal memory, and a massive 3,760 mAh battery.
