The 27” display uses FHD LCD technology, which is not as fancy as IPS, but quite common in the 27” form-factor. The computer is powered by an Intel Core i7 (Gen5), has up to 8GB of RAM (max) and up to 1TB of hybrid storage.
Fortunately, there’s a discrete NVIDIA 940A 2G GPU option, which is always better for gaming performance, if not compatibility. It’s not going to beat a “gaming rig”, but it’s a decent GPU which offers DirectX 12 features. Lenovo doesn’t say, but this graphics processor usually comes with 1GB of video memory.
It’s likely that a computer like this will be used as a “family” computer, with the ability to entertain anywhere in the home as long as the battery can sustain the activity. Most of the time, it would be plugged to a power source.
The main difference with today’s Horizon 2e computer is the size of the screen (27” vs. 21” for the 2e), the compute power and 2X the RAM. Here are more specs:
