Marvel has teamed up with Netflix to bring some of its superheros to the small screen, earlier this year the first season of Daredevil was released in typical Netflix original fashion, all thirteen episodes were released on a single day. We have known for a while now that Netflix is making Jessica Jones and only recently a teaser trailer was released, now Netflix has released the full Jessica Jones trailer which raises more questions than it answers.
Marvel’s description of the show reads: “After a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City.”
The full trailer gives us an idea of what Jessica Jones have been through, and it also provides us a hint of Killgrave’s menace, as he seeks out Jessica and threatens to bring havoc to her life yet again.
The trailer does a pretty good job of creating interest in the show without giving away too much, that’s always a good thing, nobody likes trailers that essentially give away the entire plot. That defeats the entire purpose of making people wait for the show to arrive.
Jessica Jones is out November 20th, all episodes will be released at once so Netflix users can binge to their heart’s desire. The show stars Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, David Tennant as Kilgrave, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Rachael Taylor as Patricia “Trish” Walker, and Carrie-Anne Moss.
