Apple has since released the public beta 1 of iOS 9.2. This is the first public beta for iOS 9.2 and hopefully some of the bugs that weren’t addressed before have been fixed in this update. Note that this is still in beta meaning that there could still be some kinks that Apple has yet to iron out, but if you don’t mind taking it for a spin you’re more than welcome to by heading on over to Apple’s website and signing up to be part of it.
Apple’s public beta program is kind of new as far as iOS is concerned. Earlier this year Apple announced their intentions and launched it with iOS 8.3, but the public beta practice has continued until today. Prior to this, only developers registered with Apple could opt in on the beta, but now it seems that just about anybody can.
