Judging by the fact that the listing on their website is still live at this time of posting, it would seem that they don’t really seem too fussed, and neither does HTC. However this does work out in our favor as it provides some pretty crisp and clear photos of what the upcoming handset looks like, which we have to admit looks pretty good!
The design of the HTC One A9 is definitely a different direction for HTC. In fact to a certain extent it could pass off as an iPhone 6/6s upon first glance, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The back of the phone also appears to be more sleek and flat, compared to the HTC One M9 where the back of the phone has a slightly more pronounced curve to it.
As far as specs are concerned, we are getting some conflicting reports. Recent benchmarks have suggested a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset, while previous rumors claimed a Snapdragon 617, and an earlier one even suggested a MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core chipset. However we suppose we’ll just have to wait until next Tuesday for the official details.
