For those who are still a bit skeptical, you might be interested to learn that recent GFXBench benchmark results have surfaced (via PhoneArena) which seems to confirm what we know about the tablet so far. As you can see in the screenshot above, the benchmarks have confirmed its 18-inch display.
It lists 18.5-inches while we have heard 18.4-inches, so we’re not sure what’s with the discrepancy but hopefully an official announcement will clear things up. The results also confirms its Full HD resolution which is kind of a pity. Under the hood, a Samsung Exynos 7-series octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz can be found, along with 2GB of RAM and 25GB of storage.
There will also be no rear-facing camera and only a front-facing camera of the 2MP variety. It also appears to come with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop preinstalled. Now given some of its specs, the Galaxy View does not sound like a particularly high-end device. Instead it sounds like it’s a tablet aimed at users who just wants a big display, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to find out.
