In fact if you’ve already pre-ordered your copy of Fallout 4, a tweet by Bethesda’s Pete Hines has confirmed that the game will be preloadable. The exact time and date this will happen has not been confirmed, except that it will be several days ahead of launch. “We will offer preloading for Fallout 4 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Exact day/time TBA. All should be available a few days before launch day.”
Fallout 4 will be released on the 10th of November which is in a couple of weeks. The game will be released on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the PC. Note that this is probably for gamers who have pre-ordered the digital copy of the game. For those who bought the physical copy, you guys will still need to wait for your orders.
However as you might recall, the physical copy of the game does not contain all of the install files. Instead in a bid to prevent piracy, Bethesda has split up the files meaning that you will still need to log into Steam to download the rest.
