Now previously we had heard Facebook was planning a “Dislike” button that would allow users to show that a post or story upset them. This makes it more dynamic, but now according to a report from Engadget, it could be much more than that. According to Engadget, Facebook is said to be close to launching “Reactions”.
As you can see in the screenshot above, Reactions is basically a more detailed Like button. Users can Like a post normally, or if they really like it, they can choose the Heart emoticon. They can also appear to express laughter, shock, sadness, or even anger, meaning that there will now be a more suitable way for you to react to a post (apart from commenting).
Engadget goes on to note that this feature is expected to enter testing and will begin with users in Ireland and Spain as soon as tomorrow, and presumably if all goes well and the feedback is great, we can expect it to roll out to the rest of the world. In the meantime what do you guys make of it? Is this something you would like to see make its way onto Facebook?
