There was a time when Facebook had just one app through which you could catch up on the stories in your News Feed and also chat with friends, then the company decided to break out Messenger as a standalone app. This enabled Facebook to add more powerful features to Messenger and really position it as a cross-platform messaging service. Today one of the features first made available to Messenger is jumping to the main Facebook app.
Facebook first added the feature called Doodle to Messenger, it lets users annotate on pictures they have uploaded, in Messengers users can easily free-from draw on pictures that they’re sending to their contacts.
Doodle has now been brought over to the main Facebook app, users can free-form draw on the images they upload using the app before they hit the publish button to add a bit of flair to their image uploads.
Doodling is very easy, just upload a picture and tap on edit to start drawing. A color slider will show up on the right side of the screen to add a dash of color to your doodles.
Facebook is rolling out the update today for its Android and iOS app which includes the Doodle feature, keep an eye out.
