For starters, it is full well capable of letting you know exactly when you need to go to the bathroom, and each visit to the bathroom will be duly noted. Through this pattern, DFree will pick up the tiny nuances about your bathroom expeditions, in order to provide you with a more accurate notification. It targets those who suffer from sudden diarrhea, constipation or incontinence, those who would like to be potty trained, are disabled, and of course, the elderly.
You will need to place the DFree on your lower abdomen to have it work, and thankfully it needs not be worn near your private bits. Wearing the DFree will require one to fasten a belt, or to make use of an adhesive tape – which the latter does seem to sound rather uncomfortable. The DFree app will send push notifications to your smartphone, where you will end up with a prediction of your toilet times. It does so after monitoring your bodily changes through ultrasound. There is no word as to when DFree will hit the market and for how much though, although I suspect it might come in handy more for new parents and caregivers of the elderly. If you have eaten a bad lunch and are perfectly healthy, then the DFree’s notification might lag compared to your natural instinct to visit the porcelain throne.
