A dream wedding that goes on flawlessly is every girl’s dream, but then you can be sure that all weddings have their fair share of kinks and flaws, no two ways about it. Well, the selfie craze has claimed its fair share of lives – most recently with a teen falling off from a 9 story building for an extreme selfie, but this does not mean that you should not shoot a selfie on your big day. Bridal and evening wear designer Reem Acra decided that bouquets were passe, and swapped those for rhinestone encrusted selfie sticks as part of her fall 2016 collection.
On the catwalk, models decided to throw away the traditional veils and tiaras, settling instead for diamond-encrusted headphones. Do take note that this is not the first time that such a thing has happened, since Dolce & Gabbana did debut a similar pair during its fall 2015 show. So far, there has been no word on whether the selfie sticks which were paraded would be produced and sold by Acra, but it is definitely one of the more unique ways to turn your wedding into an even more memorable one.
I am not too sure if the professional photographer hired for the event will be to thrilled by his or her subject parading with a selfie stick though.
