The good news is that you might not have to wait much longer. According to recent advertisements, it seems that many believe that the BlackBerry Priv will go up for pre-order this coming Friday. While pricing in the US has yet to be confirmed, Canadian carrier Rogers has confirmed to the folks at MobileSyrup that the phone will be priced at $800 outright, or $400 on a 2-year contract.
While it might not be the same in the US, hopefully you can get a rough idea as to what you might be able to expect. So far what we do know of the phone is that it will feature a 5.4-inch display with curved edges on each side. It will pack a 3,410mAh battery, an 18MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and a Snapdragon 808 chipset with 3GB of RAM.
In any case we suggest you not get your hopes up just yet, but do check back with us this coming Friday to see if pre-orders have truly been opened.
