The BlackBerry Priv is the company’s latest smartphone, but instead of it running on BB OS 10, the phone is actually powered by Android, a first for the Canadian company. Despite this new and what some might consider to be an important direction the company is headed towards, there has been little fanfare surrounding the device.

The good news is that if you wanted more details on some of its features, BlackBerry has finally obliged by releasing a video that takes you through some of the phone’s key features. As you can see in the video above, it talks about some features like the BlackBerry Hub, Pop-up Widgets, and also shares some design aspects of the phone along with some specs.

For example, just in case you didn’t know, the BlackBerry Priv is capable of recording 4K video at 30fps. The video also talks about DTEK, one of the security features of the phone that monitors the integrity of your device and lets you know when there might be something wrong or if there is an aspect of it that isn’t secure.

In any case if you have a couple of minutes to spare and want a little more details on the device, do check it out in the video above. In the meantime the phone is currently available for pre-order via BlackBerry’s website where it is priced at $699 and is pegged for a release on the 6th of November.
