As you might have heard, Warner Bros. has officially reinstated Batman: Arkham Knight for the PC. Granted this did take them quite a while, but we suppose it’s better than nothing, right? The good news is that all the major issues that caused the game to be pulled have since been addressed, but at the same time there are still some issues that remain.
In a post on Steam, Warner Bros. revealed that they are aware of some of the issues that are still plaguing the game and that they are actively working to fix it. However for the most part it seems that the game should be largely playable, unlike the previous issues which rendered the game completely unplayable for many PC gamers.
According to the publisher, “We are still working with our GPU partners to add full support for SLI and Crossfire. In addition, we are working with these partners to address stability issues on certain cards related to the latest drivers.” They also note that there might be some hard drive paging issues with GPUs on Windows 7.
Apparently this happens after extended gameplay sessions, and one of the ways to fix it is to just relaunch the game. However for Windows 10 owners, “For Windows 10 users, we’ve found that having at least 12GB of system RAM on a PC allows the game to operate without paging and provides a smoother gameplay experience.”
Like we said these aren’t game-breaking bugs and for the most part, it shouldn’t really affect your experience too much, but hopefully Warner Bros. will push out more updates to address all of them soon.
