At its event last month Apple revealed that it has teamed up with iconic French luxury brand Hermès for a very fashionable model of its first smartwatch. This is certainly going to appeal to those who have a strong affection for Hermès and those who prefer the finer things in life, but do keep in mind that luxury does come with a price tag, particularly when it’s luxury adorned with the iconic Hermès brand.
It’s not at all surprising to see Apple team up with a fashion powerhouse, the company has never painted its first smartwatch as just another smartwatch, it has been pushing it as a fashion accessory so a collaboration with Hermès makes all the sense in the world.
The Apple Watch Hermès collection starts at $1,100 and goes up with $1,500, models are available in Single Tour, Double Tour and Cuff bands. All watches in this collection are going to feature exclusive watch faces designed by the fashion house for the Apple Watch.
Purchasing a model won’t be as easy as heading over to Apple’s online store, the models will only be available in 70 retail stores across the globe which includes Apple Stores, Hermès boutiques as well as high-end department stores like Maxfield in Los Angeles and Selfridges in London.
