When compared to other wearables, the Apple Watch is by no means cheap. We suppose in a way Apple wants to create a sense of luxury and exclusivity, but this also means that there are many customers who will not be able to afford one. That being said if you’ve always wanted an Apple Watch but felt it was too expensive, you’re in luck.
Apple has confirmed to the folks at MacRumors that they are holding a promotion. This promotion will basically knock $50 off the price of an Apple Watch if you were to buy it together with an iPhone. Ultimately this could cost you a pretty penny, but in the meantime if you were already planning on buying both, or if you needed an excuse, this seems like a good one.
There are several caveats that you should probably be aware of. For starters, this offer does not apply to the Apple Watch Edition or the Apple Watch Hermes models. Then again if you could afford those, $50 off probably doesn’t mean that much to you anyway. The offers are also only available at Apple’s retail outlets, but even then not all retail outlets are participating in it.
The participating outlets include locations in California and Massachusetts, such as Burlingame, Chestnut Street, Corte Madera, Hillsdale, San Francisco and Stonestown in the Bay Area, and Boylston Street, Burlington, CambridgeSide and Chestnut Hill in the Boston metro area. The promotion is also only valid from the 30th of October to the 15th of November.
