Email signatures have been around for a long time, they make it quite easy to add a personal touch to those boring emails that we send back and forth every single day. There’s no limit to the number of customizations that can be made to an email signature, however Yahoo has come up with a great new addition that’s likely to appeal to those who use Twitter a lot.
Things that Yahoo Mail users can already include in their email range from name, phone number, contact information, link to websites and a personalized note to recipients.
Now it’s possible for you to embed your latest tweet from Twitter automatically in email signatures. You only need to set this up once and Yahoo will automatically pull the last tweet posted through your account and add it to the email signature.
Users have the option to manually edit part of or remove the tweet completely from the email signature if they feel that it’s inappropriate for the email, or have any other reason of not sending that tweet in the email’s signature.
The feature can be set up by heading to the Settings menu in Yahoo Mail, clicking on Accounts followed by Primary Yahoo and selecting “Include your latest Tweet from Twitter.”
