South Park Game On Original Xbox Seen
In life, there are legends and stories of the past that over the years, and perhaps even centuries and generations down the road, it has become more or less whispered tales that does make one wonder whether there is a semblance of truth attached to it or not. Thankfully, we do not have to roll back the years by a few centuries this time around, just to the turn of the millennium. Word has it that back in the early 2000s, Buzz Monkey, a studio from Oregon, was knee deep in work on an officially licensed South Park game – and where else would it be headed for other than the original Xbox?
Of course, as any video game history buff will be able to tell you, such a game did not ship at all – which means it never made it to store shelves. Still, is there any hope for South Park fans to be able to get a glimpse of what could have been? The answer is in the affirmative, as you can tell from the video above that an early version of the title actually managed to make its way to an Xbox debug console, complete with a combat system and all.
