Sonos is a company some of you guys have heard of. They are a company that specializes in making audio equipment such as speakers. Now if you are in the market for a new set of speakers, you might be interested to learn that Sonos has a new one in the works that could come with gesture controls.
This according to the folks at Zatznotfunny who managed to comb through a publicly available Sonos beta APK that was online. According to their findings after digging through the app, they uncovered several images which you can see for yourself above. The images depict a speaker but what’s interesting is the markings on the speaker.
As you can see, the blue dots and lines seem to indicate that the speaker can be adjusted by touching it or swiping it. Tapping it will adjust the volume, while swiping left or right will let you skip or go back to tracks. It also seems to suggest that the speaker can be placed in either a horizontal or vertical position.
That being said, speakers with touch controls aren’t new. However if you’re a fan of the Sonos brand and want to see what they might have in store, hopefully we will be able to learn more about these speakers soon.
