The handset has recently made its way through the FCC meaning that if and when Samsung does decide to officially announce the handset, there could be at least two models that we are looking at. This is particularly interesting especially when you consider that a couple of months ago, there was a rumor that Samsung might not be launching the Samsung Z3 stateside.
Of course the FCC filing does not confirm that the handset will be arriving in the US. It is merely getting the necessary certification for if and when it does, which for all we know might be never but one can still hope, right? Just in case some of you guys are hearing about the Samsung Z3 for the first time, here’s a quick reminder of its specs.
From what we know, the Samsung Z3 will feature a 5-inch 720p HD display. Under the hood, there is expected to be a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and oddly enough the FCC listing seems to suggesting a small 1,500mAh battery for the LTE model of the handset. In any case we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more official info, so check back with us later for more updates.
