Samsung Gear S2’s Demand Is Impressive Back Home
It does look as though the smartwatch revolution is well underway, and the Samsung Gear S2 happens to be one of those devices that have put up a pretty good impression so far. In fact, in its home market in South Korea, the Samsung Gear S2’s demand has been said to be healthy. If one were to take into consideration the rate at which pre-orders have accumulated, it seems that the Samsung Gear S2 is now sold out – which means this coming 2nd of October should see a fair number of people wearing the Samsung Gear S2 happily on their wrists in that part of the world.
After all, there was just a limited number of the 1,000 units of the Gear S2 and Gear S2 Classic which were put up for pre-order, and those were snapped up in a matter of a couple of hours. It seems as though the market reception to this wearable device is similar to the kind of goodwill shown to its predecessor, the original Gear S, as well as the Apple Watch of course.
Industry insiders claim that the smartwatch will arrive with anywhere from 16 to 18 apps right out of the box, and there will be at least a dozen which cannot be removed. Bummer, right?
